My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Did the book description relate to the story? This wasn't a fiction story and we were given a separate book description than the one that is available on Amazon. The one we were given describes the book far better than the commercial blurb.

How did you feel about the opening / ending sequences of the book? The opening and ending sequences end on two different notes. It starts in a bad place where the author appears to be broken and as the book concludes, she is seen picking up the pieces in a thought provoking manner.

Who was your favourite character and why? There were no fictional characters just the strong voice of the author that carries you through the significant moments in her life. She has a way of expressing herself that can reach out different people in different ways and this is what makes this book so special.

What were the main relationships explored in this book? She explores different stages in her life so it would be difficult to pinpoint one or two relationships. If I had to choose one, then it would be the relationship she has with her older self as she accepts what has happened in the past and tries to move on.

Was this book worth reading? Yes, and I would recommend it for anyone who is at the healing stage of a bitter experience.

Disclosure - I received a complimentary copy fromthe author which did not affect my honest opinion.
