How has your upbringing influenced your writing?
My mother was an extremely accomplished author for Ladies Home Journal and many others. She also wrote articles and raised funds for the oldest art history museum in the country called the Academy of National Sciences.
When and why did you begin writing?
I began writing when I was in the 9th grade. I wrote about my father killing a Bengal Tiger and bringing them to the Academy of National Sciences. He helped to bring animals in for exhibits. At one point of our lives we lived with Jane Goodall.
Did writing this book teach you anything and what was it?
I gained an insight of people, places and the beauty of life. There were so many important people in my life that influenced me and my book pays tribute to them.
How did you come up with the title?
Life is a journey and footsteps represent life. The title is befitting of the journey of life that we are all on.

Who is your publisher?
I have chosen to self publish my book.
Why did you choose to write this particular book?
I wrote this book as a tribute to those that I love. My parents influenced me for good and they gave me a love of God. All of that is in the book.
