If you ever been to the redwoods, it’s a beautiful thing, well at least to me anyways. I love going to Muir woods. If you ever been then you know it’s beautiful. Just to stand in god’s creation takes my breath away. My wife has never been to Muir woods but grew up in Montana, which being close to Yellowstone, she knew that beauty as well. She described it to me as God’s best work. I can’t wait to visit. From time to time, these works of art catch fire and burn. In September of ’88, Yellowstone caught fire burning a total of 793,880 acres or 36 percent.
Once a lush green forest now a charred wasteland, but in the midst of all this, the lodge pole pines released their seeds during the fire. So the rain came, and new life started again. Now if you look where the fire raged, you now see beauty for ashes. In our life, we might feel as if we been through the fire ourselves. Remember God gives beauty for ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair (Isaiah 61:3). Let God refine you. You may be in the fire or have been, but know that God is releasing seeds of restoration and prosperity in your life. Let the master refine you today to be his victory tomorrow.
This book is a biblical perspective on how God wants us to see and get through the trials that life brings our way. It is a book of conversations and things brought to our attention that we may not always see and how through scripture God wants us to get through them.
