My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Did the book description relate to the story? Not really. This book is part of a series and for the most part cannot stand alone. The reader is given little links or clues to the first book in the series and the description mentions little of this as well. It says "Pipe Woman Chronicles", so which book is this?
How did you feel about the opening / ending sequences of the book? The opening sequence, we would have liked to have at least a short introduction on what has already happened. However, the storytelling was flawless and it was a good read with a twisted ending that was definitely worth the time.
Who was your favourite character and why? I'm going to go for Naomi. She seems to the focal point of the story and as the readers are taken on a ride, her life seems to get more complicated at every turn.
What were the main relationships explored in this book? Father-daughter, best friend and lovers. Each was explored at different levels and had different emotions attached to it which I think was the best part of the book.
Was this book worth reading? Yes, and I look forward to reading the other books in the series once I figure out which comes first.
Disclosure - I received a complimentary copy fromthe author which did not affect my honest opinion.

Thanks for the kind review! P.S. Sorry for the confusion about the series order. "Seized" is first, then "Fissured", then "Tapped".
