Location and life experiences can really influence writing, tell us where you grew up and where you now live?
I grew up in Hong Kong (English expat) I lived in NZ but now live in Sydney, Australia. I love to travel and find seeing different cultures really helps with my writing and thinking up stories.
How did you develop your writing?
With a lot of hard work! J I found some critique partners and beta readers and they really helped me become the writer I am today. If you don’t have a support network you need one. They’re invaluable.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
Everything and nothing. Ideas randomly pop into my head all the time. It’s awesome being a writer.
What is hardest – getting published, writing or marketing?
Probably a mixture of all of it. Being published is wonderful but the constant promotion and interaction can steal writing time. But then your fans are waiting for more work as soon as possible so it’s hard to keep a good balance. J
What marketing works for you?
Facebook is the main place where I hang out, share teasers, and interact with fans. J Love it.
