- What writing are you most proud of? – Brothers of Rock really launched my career. It opened a lot of doors for me, including Ferry Creek. I’ll always love Brothers of Rock AND there’s no end in sight! ;)
- What are you most proud of in your personal life? – My two children. They are beautiful, smart, and they enjoy books and writing.
- What book genre of books do you adore? – I love romance books. Not just because I write romance but because they’ve always meant so much to me. I think it’s because the sub-genres are so much fun. Steamy romance to romantic suspense… western romance to billionaire romance… so many possibilities!
- Is there any books you really don’t enjoy? – I cannot get into sci-fi stuff. I’ve tried but I can’t do it.
- How did you develop your writing? – I developed it by writing a lot. That’s all you can do. Sure, study the craft and read a lot of books, but the writing comes down to actually writing.
- What is hardest – getting published, writing or marketing? – The marketing for me is a pain in the butt! I love talking with fans though. But to get out there and market… ugh. I wish I could just write forever!
- What marketing works for you? – For me, it’s about being available. I hold a lot of contests and I always make sure my readers know how I much I appreciate them supporting me. That alone helps a lot. I want my readers to trust me as much as I trust them!
- Is your family supportive? Do your friends support you? – I have a great support system around me. The best friends and family I could ask for. They love that I’m a writer!
- Do you plan to publish more books? – YES! I have so many books planned for Ferry Creek. Plus, Brothers of Rock will continue… and I have some other series in mind!
- If you could study any subject at university what would you pick? – I would love to study psychology! It only seems fitting for a romance author, right?
- If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? – A small cabin tucked away in Maine or Washington state… I want to be hidden in the woods with a fire burning and my fingers typing.
- How do you write – lap top, pen, paper, in bed, at a desk? – I outline with pen and paper. I write with my laptop. I always work in my office.
