Where do you see yourself in five years? As of 2012, I hit the #1Amazon Bestseller List. Within 5 years I expect to have one or more of my titles hit the big screen and with hard work I expect to be on the USA Today and New York Times Bestseller List as well. That’s my goal!

What contributes to making a writer successful? Along with a regular writing schedule, optimism and persistence makes as aspiring writer successful. Authors find the time to write and to invest in their own careers. Writing is a muscle! The more you use it, the better it gets.
Do you have any advice for writers? To write a good novel, you must be a good storyteller. Readers want to be entertained, want to be taken out of their humdrum lives, want to lose themselves in the story. The fiction must be exciting, build interest. We have to learn how to write passionately, it’s the burning drive to get down something that the reader has to see.
What dreams have been realized as a result of your writing? Today, I’m an Amazon Bestselling Author and SHADOW CAY has been recognized by readers, reviewers alike as the recipient of five literary contests. I started doing the happy dance when my debut thriller won First Place in the Mystery/ Thriller/ Suspense category in the Reader Views Annual Literary Awards, and haven’t stopped yet. My biggest surprise and most memorable milestone . . . When Gelati’s Scoop recognized it as one of the top thirty-five novels of the year, I landed on the list alongside such giants as James Patterson, David Baldacci and Daniel Silva.
