What book genre of books do you adore? Mystery and Suspense.

What books should everybody read at least once? The books about our Presidents, past and present. It shows what can and should be done according to the needs of the populist.

Is there any books you really don’t enjoy? There is some value in every book that has ever been published. If you can’t get a positive reward for reading a book you can sure get the idea of how not to do one.

What do you hope your obituary will say about you? He was a good man and honest!

Location and life experiences can really influence writing, tell us where you grew up and where you now live? Cullman, AL in a little town called ‘Birdsong.’ My Grandfather told me if I would put just a little salt on the bird’s tail that he would sing for me. I fully believe that. Farm life taught me to appreciate life in general. Lot’s of things go on at a farm. I was part of all of it, especially breakfast, lunch and dinner. Grandmother made the best apple pies. Today I bask in the sun, and watch the waters and the people passing to their chores or frivolity on the Lewis Smith Lake. My wife and I have our coffee on a screened in porch high up in the trees overlooking the lake. The view from my office allows me to see a vast area of this beautiful waterway along with the sunsets that end each day. Out my window pass birds, neighborhood dogs, rabbits, squirrels, deer, fox, raccoons, and even a badger, yep, I’ve seen em all without moving from my desk.

Detective FRANK HAWTHORN receives a call from W.J. FISHER. He said that his son Milford Fisher had disappeared. He found his boat near the Memphis, Tennessee branch of the Fisher Granary Corp covered in blood. Later that day the boat disappears as well.

Hawthorn is told that young Fisher discovered someone was stealing millions from the company and now he is missing. Everyone believes him dead except Hawthorn who has a premonition that maybe…he’s still alive.

Detective Hawthorn works his magic to solve the crime. After several incidents and mishaps, he discovers the truth and finds the guilty individuals. There is an important twist in the story and Frank Hawthorn uncovers a plot that will keep you on your toes. Frank wears his heart on his sleeve and is BLINDSIDED when he discovered the truth about the woman he loves while he searches for the truth. You’ll never guess what happens in this riveting tale.
