CS Patra – 10 Things You Didn’t Know About Me

6:00 AM Posted by Unknown No comments

How much of your book is realistic? I’ll admit that this one is probably one of my least realistic ones. I didn’t really use any current events to write it, it’s something I’ve thought about and decided to turn into fiction.

What are your goals as a writer? In the past, I did want to be the next JKR and write the next big thing to Harry Potter. These days, I just want to get my work out there for people to read. Even if it’s just a small group of devoted readers, I am satisfied. I love to write and I love entertaining people.

Have you included a lot of real life experiences, even friends, in the plot? I haven’t really included anything like that in this book but I have done it in other ones. I tried to stray away from that with this story.

Will you write others in this same genre? There will definitely more books in the paranormal sense and more romance. It’s what I enjoy writing the most.

Who is your favorite author and why? I like quite a lot of writers, past and present. I’m fond of a lot of Stephen King’s older works (his horror stories especially) and I do enjoy JK Rowling’s Harry Potter series. For literary greats, I enjoy Edgar Allan Poe, O Henry, Flannery O’Connor, and Shirley Jackson. I also enjoy a lot of William Shakespeare’s works as well as Tennessee Williams and Arthur Miller’s. Also, I like a lot of poets.

People say they will do just about anything for love. Some might go far enough to try and find the impossible. Some will stop at no lengths for the one they love. When Ian Choi’s girlfriend gives him the most difficult task…find her someone, a vampire, to turn her immortal…he is faced with a choice he never imagined he’d have to make. And little does he know just what could happen while he’s trying to make her wish come true.
