Author Interview – Marc DiGiacomo

6:30 AM Posted by Unknown , 1 comment

What is my favorite color? Orange because of the fruit.

How do I feel about self-publishing? As long as a book is well written and properly edited, I don’t have a problem with self-publishing. If a writer feels that strongly about putting their work out there then go for it.

What are my current writing projects? Right now I am finishing up the sequel to In a Small Town, I hope to have it out by the Fall 2013.

Who designed the cover? I have to give major accolades to my wife for designing the cover. You are looking at any small town in the USA through the barrel of a gun.

How do I promote this book? It is the people who love to read a good book that promote the best. Anyone can pay a publicist to market your book but unless readers are talking about it, your chances of selling books is minimal. So if you like a book, tell someone about it, word of mouth is the best way to sell books.

The shotgun blast catches Detective Matthew Longo by surprise. His world unravels into a nightmare that seemingly won’t end. Murder, rapes, pedophiles, the small town of Hutchville, N.Y. is changing. It is up to him to make a difference. While partner Donny Mello is in Italy attending a funeral for a family member who is connected, to say the least, a beautiful F.B.I. agent waits to question him about his family business. Can Matt keep from answering the Agent’s questions? More importantly, can he hide a potentially career-ending secret from his community, his brother, and most especially Agent Cynthia Shyler?
