The Celtic Dagger (Alistair Fitzjohn, #2)The Celtic Dagger by Jill Paterson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Did the book description relate to the story? Yes it did. This is the second Fitzjohn mystery I am reading from this author and I loved it right from the description to the end.

How did you feel about the opening / ending sequences of the book? I liked the ending. The way everything falls into place and the mystery is solved is a cross between Agatha Christie and newer mystery reads.

Who was your favourite character and why? Fitzjohn, of course. There are moments when he is awkward and irritating but he does get the job done and you have to give credit to his quirky ways.

What were the main relationships explored in this book? Family. Alex Wearing's murder reveals secrets and past issues that others had ignored before.

Was this book worth reading? This is very good read and I enjoyed the Sydney setting as well as the author's writing style.

Disclosure - I received a complimentary copy from the author which did not affect my honest opinion.
