Which secondary character resonated most with you and why? The father was supposedly alive but never brought into play. I think he could have added something, if he was used.

What I liked. The idea behind the book was interesting. I am agreeing with another book club member, I believe everything would be easier to understand if we read the first book.

Why would you recommend or not recommend this book? I recommend to people who like magic or paranormal in their reading.
